IS IT HARD TO CREATE A COMIC BOOK?
No, it is not hard to create a comic book.  All you need to have is a creative mind, art skills, writing skills  and the desire and determination to be successful.  

WHAT TOOLS ARE NEEDED IN ORDER TO CREATE A COMIC BOOK?
In order to create a comic book, there are many items that you must purchase to fulfill your dream.  Below is a list of some of the basic items that are needed:  
Bristle Board Paper - 10 x 15 size
T-Square and Triangles
Pens and Black Ink
White Eraser
Pencils
Lettering Guides
Pro-White
Markers

ARE THERE ANY SOFTWARE PACKAGES THAT CAN HELP YOU CREATE A COMIC BOOK?
Yes, there are several programs that can help you create a comic book.  Photoshop is an excellent graphic program.  Illustrator is another program that offers a large variety of lettering styles, logos and dialogue boxes for your comic books.  

HOW MUCH CAN YOU EXPECT TO SPEND IN ORDER TO GET YOUR COMIC BOOK PUBLISHED?
Research has to be done in individual cases.  However, you would spend approximately $5,000.00 to have about 2,000 copies of your comic book printed in color.  To have it done in black & white, it would probably run you about $2,500.00.  These prices were quoted in 2002.
