Applying a Morph In Poser 3 or 4
Tools Needed:
Poser 3/4
Where do I put these morphs?
I get this question more then any other. Morph .obj (Object) files can be placed anywhere that you want to. I personally keep them all sorted by figure and body part in a series of folders under the default Poser 4 Directory.
How to apply a Morph Target:
-Open Poser :)
![]() -Double click on the part of the body that you want to apply the morph to, in my case it will be the female head. When you double click on it, the following window will pop up:
![]() -Click on the button that says "Apply Morph Target", when yo do so, another window will pop up:
![]() -Click on the locate button, and go digging for the morph .obj file.
![]() -Once you have selected it in normal windows fashion, you will be back to this:
![]() -Under the label window, give your morph a descriptive name. This will be the name on the dial for the morph. (If you want to change this name later, you can double click on the morphs dial, and change it in the window that pops up)
-Hit the OK button and you will be back out to the main window. Now with the dials you will see the new one for the morph. Give it a spin and watch the MT work.
![]() Troubleshooting:
If you get the dreaded "Wrong # of verticies" error, then check to see if you are applying the morph to the right part, otherwise you have a bad morph on your hands.
