Origin While working on a serum to cure many forms of cancer. Walter was experimenting with high levels of cosmic radiation, in a controlled vacuum of his experimental graviton atmosphere, when the war broke out. His research complex was destroyed from a blast of an hydronucleric plamas bomb. The reenforced super steel alloy, the hundred foot thick lead base wall and the dampening fields that surrounded his graviton chamber survived the blast, but it left Walter trapped. It is still not known how many years Walter was imprison, but the constantly changing gravity and the radiation from the cosmic generator transformed his body into the man Called THE WALL.
